Seafood Pasta

4 servings

Ingredients:

Sea Garden Spice Blend

150 gr cherry tomatoes, halved

4 tbsp butter

1 red bell pepper, chopped

2-3 green onions, chopped

2-3 branches of fresh parsley, chopped

300-350 ml cream

50–100 ml dashi — see our Dashi recipe for full instructions.

1 clove of garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

320 gr Tagliatelle pasta

500 gr smoked haddock

Add other seafood according to your preference


Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add a splash of oil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Pan sear  smoked haddock for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. Heat up a pan and melt the butter. Once melted, add the vegetables and cook until they begin to soften. Then add the garlic and cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. Add cream and dashi to the pan. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. Add the fish to the sauce.

  6. After pasta is ready and strained add to the sauce pan and mix everything together.

  7. Garnish with Sea Garden Spice Blend.
